Dangerous cargo is handled through dedicated procedures and facilities, with equipment available for containers, tanks and other cargo units.
Our operations include:
- Dedicated receival areas for dangerous cargo
- Reachstackers and MAFI trailers available in Kiel and Oslo
- Stowage for dangerous cargo on a ramp-accessible, protected weather deck on SuperSpeed 2
- Cabins available for drivers of accompanied trucks and trailers
- Direct access to major road and rail networks from the terminal in Kiel
- Dedicated damage prevention and cargo handling procedures
- Customs clearance services are available where required.
