EU ETS surcharge
The EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) surcharge is adjusted monthly based on the price of emission allowances and the average greenhouse gas emissions for each route.
Exchange rates
The exchange rates for Euro and Danish Kroner against Norwegian Kroner are adjusted each month.

Waiting list
On certain sailings there may be a waiting list. Color Line operates a dynamic waiting list, meaning other units may be prioritized based on factors such as length and ETA, regardless of your position. A confirmed space on the requested sailing cannot be guaranteed.
You will receive an email if your booking is allocated a confirmed space, which may happen close to departure.
- Tuesday–Friday departures at 08:00: Updated the previous day at 15:00
- Tuesday–Friday departures at 12:15: Updated the same day at 09:00
- Tuesday–Friday departures at 16:30 and 20:45: Updated the same day at 11:00
- Saturday–Monday departures: Updated on Friday at 11:00
